Meet Dr. Yaffa Borukhova, a compassionate and dedicated Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist deeply committed to the dental health and well-being of children. With a solid foundation in psychology and a profound understanding of child development, Dr. Borukhova approaches dentistry with a comprehensive perspective, prioritizing not only oral health but also the creation of positive experiences for her young patients.

Her journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Queens College, followed by earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry. Driven by her passion for pediatric dentistry, she completed rigorous residencies at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn and Coney Island Hospital, focusing on pediatric patients. Dr. Borukhova continued her specialization with a two-year Pediatric Residency at Maimonides Medical Center, receiving specialized training in pediatric dental care, behavior management techniques, and operating room procedures. Her commitment to children’s well-being extends beyond the dental chair as she strives to create a welcoming and nurturing environment where children feel safe and comfortable.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Borukhova finds joy in spending time with her husband and children. Dr. Borukhova values family connections, treating each child with warmth and empathy, making her a trusted partner in helping families navigate their children’s dental health journey.
